According to Article 4 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), samguvenlik.com.tr has the obligation to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. Rights of the Data Subject Under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698

Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, which came into effect on October 7, 2016, grants the Data Subject the following rights:

The Data Subject, by applying to samguvenlik.com.tr (the data controller), has the right to:

Learn whether personal data is being processed,
Request information about personal data if it has been processed,
Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are being used in accordance with their purpose,
Know third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, both domestically and abroad,
Request correction if personal data has been processed incorrectly or incompletely,
Request the deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the conditions specified in Article 7 of the KVKK,
Request that corrections, deletions, or destructions of personal data be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
Object to the result of personal data being processed exclusively through automated systems, which may result in a decision to the detriment of the Data Subject,
Request compensation for damages if they suffer harm due to the unlawful processing of personal data.

These are the rights of the Data Subject under the law.

Communication and Application Method

The Data Controller Representative to be appointed by samguvenlik.com.tr will be announced in the Data Controllers Registry and on the internet address where this document is located, once the legal infrastructure is provided.

samguvenlik.com.tr will respond to the requests sent within 30 days, with a reasoned answer, either positively or negatively, in written or digital form. The necessary procedures related to the requests are generally free of charge. However, if the procedures incur costs, samguvenlik.com.tr reserves the right to request a fee. These fees are determined based on the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board in accordance with Article 13 of the Personal Data Protection Law.

By sharing your personal data on our website, applications, and other channels, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the conditions of our Personal Data Policy, which includes information on the processing, processing methods, data transfer, sale, and other relevant matters.
